Kenmon Shokamon (c. 1467–1470) is an album of drawings whose type-names are later labels. It pairs tachibana with Yakushiji (Tachibana-uji Yakushiji Kamon-no-suke Mototaka) and records Kodera’s mitsu-tachibana with fuji-tomoe. Those Muromachi pairings are not a Nara surname-grant origin. Edo Hikone Ii tachibana and Sekiyado Kuze tachibana are later named cuts; Yanagawa 立花 used gyōyō, not this 橘 type.

Provenance: Kenmon Shokamon attests Yakushiji tachibana for Tachibana-uji Yakushiji Kamon-no-suke Mototaka, and Kodera’s mitsu-tachibana with fuji-tomoe. Ii Hikone and Kuze Sekiyado tachibana cuts, and Yanagawa 立花 gyōyō, are later or different types, not this Kenmon pairing.

    Kenmon Shokamon (見聞諸家紋; also called Higashiyama-dono Gomonchō), c. 1467–1470. Muromachi album of drawings of warrior-house marks. Motif type-names on the drawings are later catalogue labels, not Muromachi captions written with the original plates.

    Supports: Supports the Muromachi house pairing of tachibana with Tachibana-uji Yakushiji Kamon-no-suke Mototaka, and Kodera’s mitsu-tachibana with fuji-tomoe, rather than a Nara-period surname gift or later Edo Hikone/Kuze cuts.
