Provenance: Not identified on Kenmon Shokamon plates in the Historian pass. Edo named forms include Sakakibara-genji-guruma (spoke count type-defining, often twelve) and Ikoma half-wheel. The name genji-guruma comes from gosho-guruma / Genji-e decorative vocabulary.
