Kenmon Shokamon (c. 1467–1470) is an album of drawings; type-names on those drawings are later labels. The album includes overhead umebachi plates, among them kutsuwa-ni umebachi and a Taira house pairing—that pairing is a Muromachi drawing, not Heian Taira-banner evidence. Heian plum poetry and Tenjin cult are literary and shrine traditions, not kamon documentation. Edo named recuts such as Maeda Kaga-umebachi (with short swords) and court Sugawara/Takatsuji umebachi are later, not this Kenmon overhead-bowl type.

Provenance: Kenmon Shokamon includes overhead umebachi drawings, among them kutsuwa-ni umebachi and a Taira plate. Those are album house pairings with later type-names, not Heian poetry, Tenjin lore, or Taira war-banner evidence for this named cut.

    Kenmon Shokamon (見聞諸家紋; also called Higashiyama-dono Gomonchō), c. 1467–1470. Muromachi album of drawings of warrior-house marks. Motif type-names on the drawings are later catalogue labels, not Muromachi captions written with the original plates.

    Supports: Supports overhead-bowl umebachi already drawn in the album, including kutsuwa-ni umebachi and a Taira plate, as a drawing class distinct from side-view sprays and later named recuts.
