A contemporary coven-and-lantern mark using a practical light source to represent shared guidance within the modern language of organised witchcraft.
Historical meaning
Although coven has older linguistic roots, it became especially prominent for organised groups in twentieth-century witchcraft and Wicca. Living covens are diverse and often private; this lantern mark was not a historical badge used by accused witches or a documented group insignia.
