Double Hex Crest preview

Evidence & Historical Context

Editorially reviewed

Documented identification

An original contemporary crest layering or pairing two regular six-sided forms, informed by classical hexagon construction.

Scholarly interpretation

A regular hexagon has a documented geometric relationship to a circumscribing circle, but doubling it is a modern design choice. Reinforcement, backup and defended structure are editorial metaphors rather than inherited symbolism.

Modern associations

The crest may now be associated with balance, strength, protection, resilience, reinforcement, boundaries, mutual support and more than one structure holding a shared centre.

Research warning

Do not assign Jewish, Islamic, alchemical, heraldic or initiatory provenance, claim an ancient protective device or promise supernatural protection.

Provenance: Original layered-hexagon crest informed by classical polygon construction.

Context note: Six-sided geometry occurs in many contexts and does not by itself establish Jewish, Islamic, alchemical, or other religious provenance.

Supports: Gives a classical construction of a regular hexagon in a circle and demonstrates the relationship between the circle's radius and the hexagon's side.

A tentacle closed into a ring turns the kraken's vastness inward. Inspired by Scandinavian sea-monster lore, this modern seal suggests pressure, entanglement and resilience when the unknown seems to surround rather than approach from one direction.
