Meaning
Vegvisir means "wayfinder" and is an Icelandic magical stave associated with finding one's way through rough weather. It appears in the Huld manuscript of 1860 and is not attested in the Viking Age, but it has become a modern symbol of guidance and protection.

Archive Notes
