Historical Context
Ancient Egyptian royal and divine headdresses used the rearing cobra or uraeus as a protective embodiment associated especially with Wadjet. A separate crown placed above a generic coiled serpent is not the same object. This mark adapts the royal-protection idea in modern form.
Provenance: Contemporary crowned-serpent emblem informed by the documented Egyptian uraeus.
Context note: Does not label every crowned snake an uraeus or detach Wadjet and Egyptian kingship from their specific context.
